Prenatal Yoga Workshop (85 Hours)
Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training Course is conducted for those who wish to become certified Prenatal Yoga Teachers which equip them with the skills and qualifications to teach women who are pregnant (Prenatal), and/or have delivered (Postnatal). This course is affiliated to the Yoga Alliance of USA and students can register themselves as Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher (RPYT) upon graduation as a worldwide recognized prenatal yoga teacher.

Learning Objective:
This is also suitable for expectant mothers or anyone who are interested to learn more on pre and post natal yoga, and how yoga can enable pregnant women to enjoy their pregnancy and prepare them for birth. Prenatal yoga focuses on the slow gentle flow of movement and connection with the breath and baby. The yoga postures are simple and easy, which help to promote general physical and emotional well-being. No previous experience with yoga is required.
Training Format:
For Field Training:
All courses have some amount of field training.
Field work is not the responsibility of school. It’s not a liability on school in any ways.
Students are encouraged to propagate their knowledge in public and search for their own clients after passing the practical exam and can observe or assist some hours for experience in school, which may vary from 15hrs to 30hrs in school.
For number of clocking hours, please contact the class coordinator and refer to your education manual.
After assisting for 15-30hrs, students can request for provisional certificate and can find their methods to do field work.
Union is not obligated to give any kind of platform for field work or internship to students.
Union, by its means and by mutual understanding may allow students to clock field training in its premise but it should not be misunderstood that every student has to do free labour in school. It’s by mutual request and by availability of space for clocking hours.
The tuition fees and registration fees paid by student is for: Theory classes, Practical classes / observation, Exam, study material and certification.
Any other services given by Union to student or to any clients or asked by student from Union, will be charged as per cost price mentioned in website.
For Yoga class / Therapy / Training:
All kind of Yoga Ayurveda teaching, training and therapy can cause certain injuries.
Signing up for the course / class / therapy means that you are aware of the probable injuries.
Union Yoga Ayurveda (Union Centre Pte Ltd) and it’s staff are not liable or responsible for any injuries caused during the session which are visible or not visible, physical or hormonal or mental.
You as client take full responsibility of your own decision and will not claim any kind of compensation in terms of money or any resources for the damage caused because of due process.
Exam and certification:
- 50% of marks from Internal examiner
- 50% of marks from external examiner
- Both are added to make final marks. In short, average of internal and external examination is final marks or final grade.
- Evaluation is done based on your clear instructions, corrections, questions and answers, usage of sanskrit terms and correct english names with indication, contraindications with subtle points mentioned in Yellow practical book.
The expectation of knowledge while evaluation from Internal and external examiner may vary because of which there can be difference in marks and final grades also dependent on average of marks given by internal and external examiners.
Prerequisites:
Everyone who wants to learn yoga is eligible.
Reading Time:
Total Number of Topics– 42 (663 pages)
Each page requires approximately 3 minutes of reading (663 pages x 3 mins = 1989 mins or 33 hrs).
Total number of Videos – 118 (approx 18 hours)
Field Training + Report – 35 hours
Total Educational Hours = 85 Hours
