The practice can improve overall physical health, overcome Joint and muscle disorders and much more. With intesnse focus on breathing while performing tailored postures and sequences specific to each meridian line, students will experience deep healing and peace during the process. The course mainly studies Yin Yoga, Meditation, Mantra, Pranayama, Anatomy and Physiology, Ayurveda, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Western Medical, Patanjali Sutra, Buddhism, and practical techniques of a yoga Instructor course.

There are plenty of physical and mental health benefits to practicing Yin Yoga. Gently stretching connective tissues ensure their elasticity and reduces aches and stiffness. It is effective in releasing tensions at tight spots and cultivates patience in the process as postures are held for a longer period of time. This course qualifies for Continuing Education (CE) hours for registered Yoga Alliance teachers.

For number of field training hours, please contact the class coordinator and refer to your education manual.
Union is not obligated to give any kind of platform for field work or internship to students.
The tuition fees and registration fees paid by student is for:
Theory classes, Practical classes, Exam, study material and certification.
For Yoga class / Therapy / Training
All kinds of Yoga/ Ayurveda, teaching, training and therapy can cause certain injuries.
Signing up for the course / class / therapy means that you are aware of the probable injuries.
Union Yoga Ayurveda (Union Centre Pte Ltd) and it’s staff are not liable or responsible for any injuries caused during the session which are visible or not visible, physical or hormonal or mental.
You as client take full responsibility of your own decision and will not claim any kind of compensation in terms of money or any resources for the damage caused because of due process.
Re-registration :
First registration if expires and student has not completed the formalities, then they need to re-register which may give extra time limit for short courses (3 months), basic course (6 months), long course (12 months).
If you (student) have not done your registration immediately and the registration lapses, then you need to pay penalty of $150 + extra registration fees which is dependent on the respective course.
2nd year consecutive registration lapse will be Penalty of $150 + $150 + Registration fees.
If your registration (student) lapses for more than 2 years or student failed their exams 3 times, the student has to pay tuition fees + registration fees and has to attend all classes again from beginning.
Note: We discourage, Re-registration, fines and penalties. Hence these options should be seen as last option but not the option to delay the course.
Exam Guidelines:
Plan for completion of course and exam well in advance. Missing the course expiry date is solely the responsibility of student.
First attempt for examination is FREE because it’s been added in registeration fees paid during starting of course.
Any Re-attempt of exams will be additional $150, maximum 2 attempts allowed
Death of near and dear ones, Medical emergency with proof, Natural calamity are exceptions. Submission of documentation proof is mandatory.
Evaluation
Evaluation is done based on your clear instructions, corrections, questions and answers, usage of sanskrit terms and correct english names with indication, contraindications with subtle points mentioned in Yellow practical book.
The expectation of knowledge while evaluation from examiners may vary because of which there can be difference in marks and final grades also dependent on average of marks given by examiners.
Grades
Students who are unsatisfied by lower grades can ask for recounting and re-evaluation by another examiner by giving official request and payment of fees:
One time Re-evaluation is allowed with $75 fee.
Re-evaluation and payment of fees doesn’t means the grades will improve. It’s a evaluation done by another examiner which may result to increase or decrease or no change in grades. This requires max extra 30 days from the date of application of re-evaluation or recounting.

Everyone who wants to learn yoga is eligible.
Reading Time:
Total Number of Topics– 35 (718 pages)
Each page requires approximately 9 minutes of reading (718 pages x 9 mins = 6462 mins or 107 hrs).
Total number of Videos – 104 (approximately 18 hours)
Field Training – 70 hours
Examination and Reports – 5 hours
Total Educational Hours = 200 Hours
